Spoil your mum at Ritu this Mother’s Day. After all, she deserves it!
This Mother’s Day, let Ritu take over and treat your mum to the perfect Mother’s Day meal.
While not celebrated on the same day (8th May in India), India and the UK follow many of the same traditions on Mother’s Day, inherited from Western culture. On the other hand, Indian culture has a number of its own unique traditions that are performed to thank mums on the holiday.
In some households, children will take over the cooking in the kitchen to give their mother a break. Or, in schools, pupils will perform plays with songs and dances dedicated to their mothers. Just like in the UK, everyone uses the day to show their mums the appreciation they deserve.
This just goes to show that no matter where we’re from, we all love to give back to our mums on Mother’s Day.
That’s why, this Mother’s Day at Ritu, we’re giving all mums a free dessert on us, to help you thank her in the best (and tastiest) way possible. Join us on Sunday 27th March.
